This happened about 2 blocks from my house. Quite honestly, the BG's in this situation are lucky to have not encountered someone with the means to defend themselves. Had I been the one that they shot at, their birth certificates would now be void documents.

On a lighter note, the intersection where they were arrested is the location of the Sterling Heights Police Department. At least the ride to jail was a short one.

A traffic altercation led to gunfire in Sterling Heights this afternoon, according to police.

The Sterling Heights Police Department said that the altercation happened near 17 Mile and Van Dyke roads shortly before 1 p.m. Officers said that the car occupied by Nathaniel Phillips and Raymond Brown allegedly began chasing the other vehicle, which was occupied by four people. The four in the car said that one of the suspects brandished a gun, prompting them to flee.

As the car being pursued sped away, one of the four occupants of the vehicle called an emergency 911 operator and said that he was being fired at by someone in the suspects' vehicle. The person said that gunshots struck the rear of the vehicle and shattered a window.

None of the victims were injured.

Police said that at least one of the passengers in the vehicle allegedly being shot at provided a description of the other vehicle. Officers made a stop in the area of Utica and Dodge Park roads.

Both Phillips and Brown, both of Detroit, were arrested without incident, police said.

They were charged with four counts of attempted murder, felony firearms and carrying a concealed weapon. Investigators said that a .45-caliber handgun that had been stolen from the Clinton Township Police Department was recovered from the suspects' vehicle.

Phillips, 23, and Brown, 21, were arraigned Monday afternoon.

I still say teachers and cops and fireman and the military are underpaid!!! Think of the risks they all take and the value teachers have on our culture. Makes you value people like Eddie and Pat. It's so stupid that we still have retarded people like this in the US. I still think they should invoke the death penalty in every state and if somebody murders or attempts to murder, they die!!! Think about how much the crime rate would go down if we had harsher penalties.

How scary!! About 6 months ago here in Lansing, there was a shoot out between a guy who tried to rob a gas station and the cops, well this shoot out took place about a block from my boyfriend's work.. luckily it was over before he got in that morning, but they found bullets and bullet holes for weeks after that in the warehouse... I told him to find another job LOL.
