Next Project?
I am sitting here bored out of mind trying to figure out a new and fun project.. I just dont know what my next snake project will be.. I have been tossing around the idea of getting back into BP's. I do miss them dearly! A few years ago I cleared out my BP's to work on my boa projects.. Well of course my boas will not go anywhere.. I do plan on adding new boas and localities to the mix.. But I got this super nice incubator here about 2 weeks ago with 3 cages and a bunch of other stuff, which included 60+ frozen rats. Needless to say the person I got it from left the reptile hobby to persue breeding parrots and other "big" breeds of birds...
But anyways I WILL NOT get back into anything that eats crickets although I loved my leo's... But the crickets to me became a pain... So here I am back thinking... Do I want to get into the morph game with BP's? Or just stick to Boas and sell this very nice incubator? Or breed some other type of pythons? I honestly dont think I will go on the line of breeding Burms due to the overbundence of them, or breed Tics... To me there really isn't enough people with the experiance that should be needed to own tics... And to be honest I may have enough room for at the most of 2 Tics.... And yes I will always have enough room for my burm and someday a nice albino female... But now I sit here again thinking.... What shall I do?

Re: Next Project?
yea im picky with my boas. no matter what the boa looks like, i still love the "common" bci's the best im not too big on bccs myself :/ but i do like a nice pink guyana and a nice golden clean peruvian im not big on hoggs or nics either.... but i do like the contrast-ey look of the BCL's too though for me temperament plays a role in the species i pick, a big reason i dont have ETB's or GTP's

Re: Next Project?
Hmm… personally, if I were looking into getting into a new project of medium to large boids; I think I would go for an Australian native python like Carpets, Blackheads, Womas, or Olives. All of them definitely have something special about them, and while they are popular enough that they aren’t too difficult to find; they aren’t quite as ubiquitous as Balls or Burms. I am not sure if any of the aforementioned snakes are appealing to you; but maybe one of those species or something similar would strike your interest?
As far as Sands and Rosys go; I love those little guys, though admittedly more for their temperament than their looks.
I hope this helps; good luck finding a new project!
