Re: The "Interspecies Love" Thread
If you don't watch any others, watch the lion reunion one. And bring the kleenex. It has been posted a few times here, but this is the full version.

Re: The "Interspecies Love" Thread
OMG that tortoise hippo one is way too cute. All great videos to, I've seen most of them before. THe first video moves me to tears every time I watch it, lol.
Here's an animal relationship. My dog Lucia and my sister's cat Leonard. They were best friends for a year or so. But then Leonard got sick of her and spent all his time prowling out doors. I think Lucia was a wee bit too needy.

I wouldn't be so sure. They just have different ways of showing it.

Re: The "Interspecies Love" Thread
They hug you. Elephants cannot do that (or if they could, you wouldn't want them to). They resist the urge to chew your arm off every time you reach in to get them. I can only imagine what kind of restraint they use. lol

Re: The "Interspecies Love" Thread
Awww! Those videos are amazing; I especially loved the lion one.
Here is a picture of my dog Doom when I first got him, and two of my cats. The grey cat, Frost, and my dog are best friends to this day. You will commonly see them curled up together on the bed or the sofa.
And a current shot of those two....
Thanks for sharing!

Re: The "Interspecies Love" Thread
Is it bad that I thought to myself, "I thought Stargazer said she was done with dating?" when I read the title?

Ha ha ha ha. As I have said many times, I decided to keep snakes because I got tired of dating them. LOL
Thanks for all the cuteness added on to this thread. I just about died when I saw the last few pics.

LOL; he was the size of a coffee mug when I first got him; so I thought he needed a big dog name to counteract the fact that my snakes get fed rats bigger than he is.

Re: The "Interspecies Love" Thread
Okay, maybe I'm a little nuts but I've been watching that lion reunion video several times a day. I thought maybe if I watched it enough, I could get through it without crying. Nope. Can't be done. Has everyone seen that video? It's amazing.

Re: The "Interspecies Love" Thread
I watched a whole documentary about the Brittish guys that raised a lion in London which they named, Christian. I agree Stargazer, it is an amazing story. Me and my mom were both blubbering like babies watching that video, lol.
