Re: Minerals
haha, you would be surpruised, there are some brands out there that no matter how hard you rub your face or how many times you wash your face, that stuff aint comin off i know one of the avon mascaras that i LOVE stays on for like 3 days, after washing your face a few times a day, it still does not come off but its SUCH a pain to get off, you cannot get the stuff off unless you have some special make up remover baby oil wont work, and neither will lotion LOL

Re: Minerals
lemme see.... i spend $50 on cologne that lasts me months, $5 on axe that lasts a month or more.... wow, i love being a guy
and I agree, make up can add some appeal, but the true attractiveness of a woman is what you cant see. wear all the goop and powder you want, it's really whats inside that defines true beauty.

Re: Minerals
I bought one jar of minerals stuff almost a year ago. Still have it. Use it rarely.
I try not to put anything on my face but a smile.
Unless I have a really horrible pimple. *mega sad* Or, if it's a special event, modeling, or fancy thing or something. Again, rare these days.
The most expensive "cosmetic" I buy is my soap. But it's because I know the person who makes it, and she makes it from goat's milk and it is 100% NATURAL.
My skin practically sings every time I shower.
But seriously ladies, throw out all your old soaps, go goat's milk. Best. Thing. Ever.
I don't get acne anymore, my skin is so hydrated I no longer need lotion and I don't get dry skin on my feet or hands anymore, AND it lasts for. ever. And comes in really yummy scents!
And buy from this company if you do, she's WONDERFUL.

Re: Minerals
I got some soaps one time made by a home biz and they were wonderful. I use Ivory soap now, but I may look into getting more of those other soaps.

Can ya buy it at a normal store? ie target, walmart or bath and beauty(a soap shop at the mall)

Ivory is a great soap but it floats and my wife finds that weird. Idk I'm a guy if it makes soapy bubbles and gets me clean I guess I'll use it.haha

Re: Minerals
Not as far as I know. It's a home-made-thing only. Well worth paying extra, especially since the bars last SO long. I bought three bars last spring, and still have the last bar. Half of one bar was eaten by my dog though, so I'd have considerably more than I have now if that hadn't happened.
Which brings me to the soap's only downfall - keep out of reach of dogs.
