Re: five finger death punch
Lol Disturbed is great in Concert. He comes out in a strait jacket being wheeled out. Great show and a great band that should be around for a while.

Re: five finger death punch
I listen to Acid Bath on occasion. Pretty dark and heavy. Of course Panterea, Aedema, Corrosion of Conformity, Tool, Slipknot, I love Mudvayne! Also like Janes Addiction, Chili peppers, Staind- the older stuff. I used to jam out to as heavy as I could find but now I've gotten to where I can only stand groups like the ones I've listed. I guess Im officially getting old.

Re: five finger death punch
nope, none of the above.
anything you can buy in a hot topic is pretty much disqualified.
but I am a music snob...
Heavy is stuff like
Dystopia
dropdead
severed head of state
his hero is gone
antischism
nausea
deaththreat
there is sooooo much music out there that they don't play on the radio, or on MTV or sell at chain music stores, that seems to have more substance, and less watered down ethos and musicianship.

I got you those are pretty good stuff as well just they slip my mind sometimes. Let me correct that I have heard of a couple of them just haven't had the opportunity to sit down and get well acquainted with it.

Re: five finger death punch
yeah, that was amon amarth
its good night time road cruising music... except if you get pulled over you have to turn it off and pop the Marshall tucker band cd in before the officer gets to your door.
otherwise... you're in for a not so fun night.
