Escape atrist
Well I wish I had a digital cam. I just went in the bedroom and found my 7ft bci gone. She almost made me have a heart attack. Her lid was pushed open and her light was off. The bulb burnt out. I sat down on the bed and noticed a lump.Guess what I have a boa in bed.lol She was all snugg under the covers and laying on my pillow. when I pulled em back she looked at me as if to say "yes dad whatcha want". Just thought it was cute so I figured I'd post it. Anyone else ever have that sort of thing happen?

Re: Escape atrist
I had a ball python escape back when I thought heavy books or dumbells where sufficient lid security. I found him wedged between the back of the toilet tank and the wall. How he got there is beyond me.
I now make sure my cages are securely locked with proper mechanisms.

Re: Escape atrist
I've had two of mine escape but they were both found immediately, THANK GOD. They're secure now but I about had a heart attack when I walked into the reptile room and saw Lily sitting on top of my supply shelf instead of safe in her cage.

Re: Escape atrist
when I was in 7th grade I took a ball python home from school for vacation... he managed to get out of the cage even with weight on it and I ended up finding him a few hours later in the back of my closet with half his body curled up in a cup lol

Re: Escape atrist
I dunno if I forgot to relock the lid down when I cleaned her water or if she managed to get the tank clips to get loose. But I'm just glad she went to being an undercover snakie.
