Was going to take my pets to the park, but...
...we got too much snow for that!!!
We get nice fluffy white powder here in the west. Driving in this stuff is fun (that's fun as in "fun", not fun as in "not fun").

that just blow me away. It is so awsome that you get snow, must be a wonderful feeling to watch the first snow come down?

Re: Was going to take my pets to the park, but...
Yes, it is!
It's very nice to sit in a warm coffee shop, drinking strong coffee, and watching the huge flakes coming down (although we aren't getting huge flakes right now).

I've only been in the snow once and it melted by 10am and after that it left a mushy mud every where. whats the best part of Montana in summer?

Western Montana! That's where all the mountains are. Glacier National Park (about 45 miles from me) is great scenery, and July is when all the wildflowers are blooming in the high country.

Re: Was going to take my pets to the park, but...
That's what my town is gonna look like in a day or so.
There's only a little snow on the ground. But a big storm is only miles away and it's raining and freezing right now.

Are you looking forward to that? You are in the mountains, right? For my part, I'm happy we are finally getting real winter weather.
However, it is supposed to drop back down into the single digits and below zero temps for daytime highs again for several days here. I don't mind 10 degrees, but below zero is painful.
I can have some outdoor fun in 10 degrees (cross country skiing), but not in below zero.

Pretty.
I would love weather like that...
for about an hour, and then I'd want to be back in Texas.

Re: Was going to take my pets to the park, but...
We got four inches here last night. Four more predicted tomorrow, and a potential foot over the weekend. :\
I'm going to southern California for the next week. I hope hope hope it's all thawed and gone by the time I get back. I took my dogs out to the park today because they like playing in it. I huddled under a tree and scowled until they were done. lol
I am so done with the whole snow thing. Bah.

That's really cool! No pun intended Did you take that pic? It kind of inspires me to get my camera out and get some pics of the big snow storm coming in tonight!

Snow is pretty, don't get me wrong. I like seeing pics of it, especially at night.
But living in it? Not for me. x.x

Snow is great! I just love it. I don't like the ice on the roads but I love the views you get on a morning after a good snow! Love the nite time pic

Yes, I just took the picture tonight. If you're getting a good storm, I would certainly enjoy the pictures. I love a good snowstorm.

I enjoy living in a place others pay to vacation to. But, remember that there is no real barbecue here. I'm reluctant to confess this, but most people I've asked around here have never eaten black-eyed peas, and don't even know what they look like. Please don't spread that around.

I understand. It's good that we are all different. But, since you insist on being different, can you send your snow our way?
