which means I'm stuck inside, bored bored bored boredboredbored.
I took the dogs outside to run around in the yard, because they are brainless and actually enjoy the bitter, horrible, nasty weather. Dakota (who we are not keeping. She's a foster dog) dug up and ate some apples with Jennyr, they tore around like maniacs, then Dakota got cold and Jennyr got bored so that was about it.
I bundled up like an eskimo not too long ago, and went outside to feed the crows. There's one that hangs around who has a broken leg, and he's much skinnier than the others, so, I like to stake meat scraps to the top of the fence and leave piles of Evo cat food out for him. He almost trusts me enough to take food out of my hands.
Ever since it's started snowing he looks pretty bad. I'm afraid we're going to lose him this winter.

So, once he came down I put a huge pile of food close to me and just sat stock still so he'd come up and eat his fill. the other crows don't come nearly as close. Poor guy. I want to leave clean water out for them, but it would freeze. They're pseudo-wild animals though, I'm sure they eat snow. Still though.
The wind is terrible up here as well, in the 50mph range. So when the crows were done eating they all crawled under our dumpster to weather it out I suppose. They made themselves comfy.
So now I'm holed up inside hoping the snow goes away soon. I hate snow. I can hardly wait for my trip to Cali next weekend. A - warmer weather. B - finally meeting the rest of Will's family.
I have a huge long list of tasks and emergency numbers for the reptile sitter (aka upstairs roommate), but I think I'm still going to have a hard time settling down about them being "home alone". Jennyr is going to my mom's place, and Dakota should be off to another friend's house.
I'm going to be calling everyone three times a day, I can just feel it. Especially my mom. This weather is so hard on Jennyr these days.
