whew, just got back from a long day :)
after a total of about 10 hours on the road, we had a VERY nice little mini-vacation we went to seaworld san antonio for the first time, it was great!! its not as big as the one in san diego, but we still had a great time. there arent as many shows at this time of the year, but we got to see everything that we wanted, and we got to ride all the roller coasters, and the hubby bought me a big shamu doll we took a ton of killer whale pics, and a ton of dolphin pics, and pics of a bunch of other stuff too they had beautiful fish too!! ill have to try to upload a few pics
this was the first time we have gone to san antonio, without going to the alamo i love that city, im serioulsy gonna start looking into housing and schools and such down there. i spoke with a diver from the seaworld, it doesnt take all that much to get hired there. you have to be scuba certified and have a bio background, plus pass all the background checks and tests. i can get the scuba cert easily, but now i need to enroll in some classes!! if its the last thing i do, i WILL get a job there....dont know how long it will take, LOL, but i think i can do it

Awesome, can't wait to see pics. I went there a few years back-did they still have the dolphin pool where you can hand feed them? I got to pet one on the nose and it was too cool. Plus the Steel Eel is an awesome coaster.

Re: whew, just got back from a long day :)
yes!! the dolphin pool was the first thing we went to check out LOL. they were really friendly, at the end of the day, we went back and bought a tray of fish to feed them, we had one big dolphin come over and hog all the fish LOL. he let me pet him several times, and after the tray was gone, he turned sideways and laid his body on the little ledge so we could all pet his body haha, it was like he was saying "thank you, thank you very much for those delicious fish "
ice, what do you guys do in scuba classes? i know i saw some advertised here where we live, i think they were like $300-400, a few days with an instructor, sounded fun!!
