Snakehooks.
Just a quick question =)
I will be getting some extra money here in a few days, and I was wondering what is the best snake hook for adult red tails that is also cost effective? My male can get a little testy when first removing him from his cage, so I decided it was time to start with the hook.
Any ideas?

a little ghetto lol, but does the same thing and didn't cost us anything

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention....I don't actually pick up snakes with it. I use it to flatten down newspaper when they're about to get fed, or to lift up their hide boxes to get them out for feeding.

Mine have seen more action cooking hotdogs, stirring fires, flipping pancakes, and opening beers...but I suppose they would work on snakes, too.
