Nor I, my friend, and I am twice your age (sigh). Just enjoy your life and your love life will take care of itself. If you put out a vibe of wanting it too bad, you will scare women away. There's actually a name for this. It's called the Lonely Guy Syndrome.

'Tis true.
However, I believe if you try and set goals on personal relationships in relation to time or age, you'll probably end up UNhappy in the long run...You might settle for Ms. Wrong just because you "want to be married by 25." With things like these, you just have to go with the flow, I can't imagine forced relationships are very happy or healthy. Then again I know some arranged-marriage (forced by family, society, etc) couples from the Far East that seem pretty happy, but they treat their relationship more like a business one than a romantic one.

If it's any consolation, people who marry a little later in life are more likely to stay married. It really puts a lot of pressure on yourself to meet the love of your life within a certain time frame.

Re: Why is it so hard?
The beauty of being human is that you can change your goals at any time. For me, my goal is to be happy and not to get married. If I happen to find a man who can make me happy, it will be great. If not, I plan to be happy anyway.

Re: Why is it so hard?
sounds like a great plan, its hard because i also get the pressure from my parents. i try to explain to them how it works in my eyes and how im not going to settle on a woman that isnt for me. every time i decide to move on, they pull the are you ever going to be happy blah blah blah....
