Anyone else been called compulsive?

I was casually discussing my plans with my snakes to my girlfriend today when she called me compulsive. Has this happened to anyone else? I don't even think I'm all that bad really, I'm just planning a collection and breeding projects mostly.
Currently I have
1.2 Rainbow Boas (.1 is yearling)
1.0 Dumeril Boa
1.1 Green Tree Pythons

My planned collection is
1.2 Rainbows
1.2 Green Tree Pythons
1.2 Jungle Carpet Pythons
0.0.1 Madagascar Tree Boa
See? Now is that really all that bad? I'm planning on breeding all the grouped animals and just Really want the Madagascar.

No, that's not bad at all. 16 snakes may seem like a lot, but really, it's not. She's just jealous because you have more snakes than she does. Yeah, that's it. That's my story, and I'm sticking with it.

Thats not bad at all, on total i have 12 reptiles.
1.1 Brazilian Rainbow boas
0.2 Ball pythons
1.2 Leopard geckos
1.0 Salmon hypo boa
1.0 Corn snake
0.1 Mexican Rosy boa
0.1 Spotted python (currently lost ugh)

It seems like a lot but it is not.

Yeah, thats what I've tried telling her. I think part of it is that she truly is obsessive compulsive, and went through treatment for it. Basically they tell her that just about everything is obsessing, personally I think its a little excessive but who am I to know? I've tried explaining that its ONLY ten snakes (note that the planned collection is a total, not what I want to add, note also the Dumeril is not on the final list) and that several people have far more than that, but you know once some people get an idea in their head, there is no changing it. Yeah Lori, I saw the madagascan featured in Reptiles and started doing some research. I'm so hooked! I'm starting to put aside money, and hopefully I will be able to get one for my birthday present to myself. [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif[/img]

You know, if you really sit and think about it Savannah, aren't we All just a little anal retentive when it comes to our pets? I don't see that as a bad thing myself. [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]
