piched sciatic nerve
has anyone on here ever had one? i cannot even sleep cause i cant find a comfortable way to lay down. does anyone have any tricks or pointers? i have not been to the doctor but i know that is what it is. i haven't went to the doctor cause i hear they treat it with pain pills and i never have or ever will take pain meds. actually this is the first time in my life i have ever taken 2 motrin. i dont take pills but the pain is unbearable. it is all down my right side, from the bottom of my back to my foot.

Try to lay on your back, then lift your knee over your chest, then turn your knee the oppisite way.
ex left knee turn to cross it over the right side then repeat with the other side. works to pop my back back in.
Or you can try to bend straight over and touch your toes with out bending you legs, Also works for my back.

Sorry to tell you this, but Motrin is a pain pill. The ones the Dr would prescribe would probably work better. Sorry to hear about this though. I hope it heals up soon!

it is over the counter motrin and i know it is a pain pill  but last night tears were coming out of my eyes it hurt so bad. with my new promotion i cannot miss work. today i sat with a heat pad most of the day and it seems to be helping.
icicle i have done the cross your legs thing, i cannot lay on my back cause i have a sway back. i can lay flat on my back and fit a pillow under it without even raising up.
