Ugh the comments on that sight annoy me a great deal. But that is okay hopefully people will start becoming more responsible. But this is the human race and well for every responsible pet owner there are 2 that aren't it seems.

I love how it was always "released because a keeper did not want it". Nobody ever considers it may have escaped like many feral cats and dogs. I guess every feral animal was set loose from an irresponsible keeper.

I know it's not all irresponsible ownership. I just like to assume it is, because then I can take a stronger stand against it.
Especially in this instance, could you imagine losing your cuddly little boa, wondering where it is, and then seeing that on the news? So it's less sad to assume he was unwanted rather than someone's beloved, misplaced pet. | |
