My first tattoo! (pics)
Im almost 33 years old and have wanted a tattoo all my life but could never find anything that I wanted to put on my body forever. Months back I decided that I was going to create my own tattoo, something that had meaning to me, and put it on my arm. The pictures below are what I came up with. Yep, it hurt. It took 2 days to do it. First day was 4.5 hours and 2nd day was 3 hours. The pain wasnt that bad but in some areas I wanted to scream! lol. I am addicted now and I want more!
Anyway, let me explain what the tattoo is. I believe in God and He is a very important part of my life. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins. In the tattoo you will see 3 spikes (or nails). They represent the nails that Jesus was put on the cross with. The heart represents my heart with the nails peircing through it because Jesus died for me. The snake represents all the evil in the world that is always around me but the blood of Jesus is protecting me from it (I am not saying that snakes are evil! lol). I like tribal art but didnt want to get the same type of tribal that everyone has so I created the stone tribal that you see in the background. You can also see the long spike peircing through the bottom of my arm. Ghost flames were added for more effect too.
Stage 1: No color yet
Stage 2: yay color!

I made an original drawing of what I wanted and then re-did it with his own version. I liked what he came up with.
