Houston Folks
Are ya'll ready for the storm? As long as the power doesn't go off I'll be fine...I just hope it doesn't flood. My townhomes flood at the drop of a hat.

Re: Houston Folks
I miss living in Houston sometimes.
Especially when it comes to storms.

Re: Houston Folks
We went and bought a generator today...and when we got home we checked the weather and we are now right outside the cone (Beaumont - Port Arthur area). Our power went out last night though with the little 10 minute storm we had, so I won't be suprised if it goes out again tomorrow.
.
Good luck to everyone and stay safe!

Re: Houston Folks
Well the tropical storm hit us dead on. The eye is over us right now. Power is out, so I'm on my blackberry. Everyone is doing fine, and so far there isn't much damage, but you never know what will happen when the back end hits!
.
Ill check back in again later.

Re: Houston Folks
It just started raining... I am at work... Just bought my new enclosure for my BP. And a new thermostat. I decided to go with AP T10 with the good proportional thermostat by spider robotics.

Re: Houston Folks
We got rain for a little bit. Honestly, some of those weathercasters are drama queeens. Maybe Home Depot gives them commisiions on duct tape and plywood- they are always making the weather sound critical. The problem with that is we are all going to ignore them and someday get whapped by a REAL storm.
