Oh jeez...
Well, I'm pretty sure my Mom hates me right now.
She woke me up this morning in fury and was going on about how I left a glass of water on the ledge (The ledge where we usually leave beverages) and it had fall on her laptop. It won't work now. I KNOW for a fact that I didn't leave a FULL glass of water there. It had a bit of water in there. I remember this cause before I went to bed, I was too lazy to get more water although I was thirsty.
So yeah, I don't know what to do. I swear my parents are mad at me 70% of the time. We've had the laptop for at least 2-3 years and I was reading that if you leave it to dry for several days, it may work again.
So once again, here I am, in my room, poop up to my knees... All because of a bit of H2O....

Aww. That sucks. At least you've got it easier than I did when I was younger!
Think of it this way, things may be uncomfortable now, and you might be angry or any other things at them, but it could be sooooo much worse! Be glad for what ya got, because it seems in this day and age, people don't notice the good things until they're gone anymore.

Good luck, I work with computers and about 90% of the laptops that have liquid spilled into or onto them are done for. The reason is all it takes it one little drop of water hitting the motherboard and it will fry all the circuits. Sorry for the bad news I hope it works. If it does not feel free to send it to me and I will see what I can do with it.

That is a good thing for sure that the laptop was on but if it still got on the motherboard it still could of fried it. Did you have it plugged in? I mean the water could of been sitting on it and when you tried it, it could of fried in then. I have seen a lot of laptops get ruined because of spilling liquid into them. The worst of them all was milk.
Let me know if you had it plugged in. Also does it do anything at all when you press the power button? Try taking the battery out and plugging into the wall so its AC power only.

Re: Oh jeez...
Thanks, I'll try that when my mother has gone to bed and she's not ready to throw the thing at me.
