Oh my gosh ya'll, I had a day. My pain in the rear retic only wants to eat pre-killed. So Husband brings home a rat today. Only this was some kind of a demon rat or something. I should have known I was in for it when he told me to get a glove before I opened the box. But no, I'm all like "Pfft, I can handle a rat" and so I open the box and the thing LEAPS out of it at my face. I dodge it like the matrix and scream and off it scurries under the bookshelf.

20 minutes later everything in my living room is piled in the center of the floor, I'm standing on a chair brandishing a boot, Husband is chasing it from one end of the room to the other, the useless cat is hiding under the bed, and the dog got overexcited and pooed on the floor. My buddy shows up and is sucked into the madness. He's in the house for 10 seconds before the rat runs across his feet and I get to watch him do the "Oh my god rat just touched me" dance.

We finally trapped it under a bowl and the snake got his dinner. But good lord, when someone tells you a rat is crazy just take them at their word. We're now going to refer to this as The Grand Rat Fiasco of 2010.

WOW... we had a rat fiasco like that once... lol... It didn't end pretty though O_O Ended with a boot to the rat and the rat spewing blood and flinging it's body all over my porch -_- Looked like a murder scene... O_O

Feeding day! I have some fat and happy snabies. But I'm a jerk and forgot to get pinks for the barking blue chainsaws, they'll just have to make do with crix for now.

I just went through our freezer at work to clear it out of all the old empty bags of food/random deli cups with frozen rodents... consolidated all the rodents into ziploc bags and there must be at least 1000 pinkies in there lol.

I honestly don't know if I could get them to take off the tongs, I was just going to throw a couple live in there. Hooray WC animals.....

I'm feeling on top of the world today. I recently had a big confrontation with a controlling boss and it went really well. There were also a lot of positive ripple effects for other people in the department. I love it when I do something that is really hard to do and it turns out well.
