Here is a picture of the new Silky. He is several pounds underweight and has apparently had a very hard time the past few months.

He’s a cute little guy; hopefully he and Buddy, the Schnauzer will hit it off. I was teasing my roommate by reminding her that I was supposed to be the one getting the new dog.

How did I miss this post? (And yeah, the trolls usually go away if you just ignore them.....the "ignore" function works wonders too.)
That Chinese restaurant told my friend there was no peanut oil in her food, but they were mistaken. It makes me nervous for my friends with peanut allergies. But did you see that post above about kicking the peanut allergy? I wonder if this might work for you.
The new Silky is just precious. I'm sure he's thanking his lucky stars that he has a good home now.

Did you have a nice break? It's good to turn the brain off every now and then.
I still have a sinus infection and very raspy voice and a cough that I can't shake. But I've been up and about, working and doing massages again. Thanks for asking.

I did have a nice break. I am all fired up for studying now.
I'm sorry you are still fighting that sickness. I hate being sick. I hate others being sick. I hope all your phagocytes make a huge killing soon.

Today was off to a hilarious start, I was raging at my coffeemaker for not giving me my daily offering of coffee when I realized I hadn't put water in. I gave it an embarrassed apology and some water and now everything is ok between us again.

America does not go abroad in search of monsters to destroy. She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all. She well knows that by enlisting under other banners than her own, were they even the banners of foreign independence, she would involve herself beyond the power of extrication in all the wars of interest and intrigue, of individual avarice, envy and ambition, which assume the colors and usurp the standards of freedom. – John Quincy Adams (1821)

Re: The Useless Large Thread... Part II
I never forgot you guys. I just got busy. And then my corn snake died for unknown reasons. After the proper period of grieving, I upgraded!!
I now have a baby RTB. Yay for tiny snakes that will one day be HUGE! I'm still busy now, but I figure new snake means the flow of information needs to come in again. So I'm back!
