Re: The Useless Large Thread... Part II
Wow, it must be very difficult having food allergies and having to watch everything you eat. You need to be so careful. I have a friend who died from a peanut allergy. She had some Chinese food that was cooked in peanut oil, unbeknownst to her.
Yes, I have always been against marriages of convenience, but I feel if both people are honest, it can work. I just feel at this point in my life, I do not wish to carry the burden alone any more. This latest sickness made me realize that.

Oh yeah. Of my allergies one of the worst of them is seafood of all kinds, but particularly shellfish. I’ve had to go to the emergency room countless times over that one, especially since it is so severe that if I even touch something that has the oils of fish on it, I’ll have a reaction. Sometimes I wonder why I haven’t taken my fellow allergy-ridden dog and gone off to live in a bubble somewhere.
I can understand that as long as both you and he know what you are getting in to. If you do decide to go that route; I sincerely hope that you'll find someone that you'll be happy with.

Re: The Useless Large Thread... Part II
I have a friend who also has a shellfish allergy. He cannot even sit next to someone eating it without having a reaction. It must feel like living in a bubble sometimes. Do you have many food allergies? (if you don't mind my nosiness).
RE the marriage thing. I have had so many wonderful men want to marry me in the past. I turned them down because I wasn't "in love" with them. I am now questioning what it means to be "in love" and why ordinary love and respect have not been good enough for me. We Librans can be such idealists sometimes. While we are waiting for the perfect mate, sometimes the real ones pass us by. I probably shouldn't be discussing this on a public forum where I'm opening myself up to so much negativity and judgment though. Usually, when Im sick, my defenses come down.

Wise thought. On a public forum, not everyone agrees, that's just human nature. But, sometimes when one considers disagreements with an open mind, there is personal growth.

Also, one is wise not to judge someone unless they've walked a mile in that person's shoes.

Please, put your personal life out for public consumption, and simply and blissfully ignore anyone who disagrees with your philosophy and choices.

LOL, I wear size 8-1/2. I doubt my shoes would be too small for you.

That would equal a men's 7-1/2. That's what size our 10 year old son wears, but he's 5 feet tall & 130 lbs!

I think shoe size is possibly the only topic we have not yet discussed on this thread.

I wear a size 13, sometimes depending on the shoe I can wear a 12W, but not normally.

Re: The Useless Large Thread... Part II
Wearing 8-1/2 AAA has really encumbered my shoe obsession. It's a tough size to find.

Re: The Useless Large Thread... Part II
That's a big foot. I'm only 5'10.
On another note, my air conditioner is out and I won't be able to get it fixed until Monday, it got up to 95 in my house yesterday, I had to spray my snakes cages with cold water to lower the temperature.

95, huh? This has got to be the only downside to living in Austin (which is a great town). The heat and humidity can be pretty rough down there. It's been a pleasant 75 here the last few weeks, getting ready to go into fall weather.

Re: The Useless Large Thread... Part II
Good news!
I'm fairly certain that the Russian sand boa is a tataricus. He has a lot of pink/orange. I have a couple more pictures if you want. They're crappy cell phone pictures but you can see his markings.
Also, the store will ship.
In closing, said tataricus is $79.99.
Hopefully I've accomplished something useful today.
