I know. I'm actually thinking about going out and getting the book, and I haven't read anything in the past 5 years.

I actually loved it. The weather was crazy, yes, but not as cold as most people think. They get the gulf-stream currents and weather, which keeps it suprisingly warm in the summer, but very windy and rainy. Winter is a total blizzard though. The people and culture there are very wild and crazy, which makes for some good times.
I also lived in tropical areas (South-central Pacific) for over 2 years, and that was cool as well. I tend to have a good time almost anywhere I get to travel around the world, I love new experiences, new and different cultures, animals, all of it.
I will confess though, against my better judgement, that Scandinavian women (especially Denmark ) are a super-awesome bonus when travelling abroad. Ahh good times.

Re: The Useless Large Thread... Part II
I got back from my friends' house around 10:30 or so, and passed out because I ate too much. I woke up just now, but I'll probably go back to bed.
All in all it wasn't so bad. They had some good fireworks up the street, I watched my brother get shot in the stomach with a paintball gun and now he has a big bruise there LOL. I shot it off a couple times, but I can't point and aim to save my life! If I were actually playing my whole body would be one big welt!

Re: The Useless Large Thread... Part II
I'm soooo glad it wasn't my driveway that needed cleaning up. Good Lord, my friend's place was a MESS.
I'm cleaning animal cages now. I'm starting with the rats. YUCK. They love to pee. I do this every week and how much they pee just astonishes me. They are all neutered, too!

I am soooo not looking forward to cleaning up my porch. I really should take a picture, just to give you an idea of how bad it was.

Okay! I got pictures of their driveway. It's littered with smokebombs. They have a gravel driveway, so they are going to have fun picking them all up individually, instead of sweeping them all up if they had a paved driveway. LOL
