Yes, it is kind of sad, seven astronauts I believe. I heard it on my way to work this morning on a detroit radio station(from windsor, on). Rather bothersome though was the DJ that automatically deemed it terrorism, I doubt that it was bombed upon re-entering the atmosphere. Regardless, it really is too bad.

I still remember Challenger like it was yesterday. Today, like then, is a very sad day indeed.

It's always sad to loose Americans in the pursuit of making this a better country. It is important to remember that these things happen when you are doing something as dangerous as traveling into space. To keep these astronauts lives from being lost in vain, it is very important that we continue our space program, as soon as the cause of this disaster is found.

It's just crazy...
Sad... A piece of it hit a townhome about 3 miles from here. We are in Murphy on the border of Plano in Texas. You can see the smoke from the road.

It is very sad indeed. Like Ted stated, doing things such as traveling to space takes great risks. The important thing is that these seven people lost there lives trying to help our country.

To quote what some parents said of their lost loved ones on the shuttle. "They died doing what they wanted to do." Very tragic indeed.
