Gas Prices
I thought about starting this the other day but totally forgot until it was brought up in another thread.
What do you think will happen eventually with the prices of gas? Its at a ridiculous price now but what happens when it gets up to 6 dollars a gallon? or 7? Eventually this just has to stop somewhere.

Re: Gas Prices
I think we'll see a gradual change in our lifestyles. More people will be riding scooters and bicycles to work. I'll probably get a job closer to home. Food, electricity and just about everything else will go up in price, so I think people will cut down on luxuries and entertainment.
I hope they put the national speed limit back to 55. We would all save a lot of gas.

Re: Gas Prices
They might consider moving closer to work, if they can't find a job closer to their house. I drive 35 miles each way now.

Re: Gas Prices
I think our state govt offices went to a 4 day work week. More people should do that.

Re: Gas Prices
I dont know... but I commute to school (about 30 min one way) and that's going to be 5 days a week this fall... with gas prices hovering at $4.25/gal, I dont know how I'm going to afford it!
