It's not a beautiful boa (but it comes close)....
I'm getting this guy in a few weeks, and he will
glow green, not red.
YES. It is a gaming PC. But I am NOT getting it for that. As most of you know, I create flash websites, media, and animation, as well as run the entire Adobe Creative Suite on my computer.
2 Gigs of RAM just doesn't cut it anymore. PLUS, my Fiance works with 3D studio max, and his HP can't handle the rendering.
So there ya go. Perfect solution.
Here's what this puppy's got:
Intel Quad Core 2.66 GHZ Processor (wish it was more...but it ain't horrible)
Windows Vista 64 bit Home Edition (hopefully the bugs aren't that bad this time around...)
4 GB (2x2GB) ram installed (have 4 more to install here on my desk), with a total of
8 GIGS OF RAM. Hallelujah!
500 GB Harddrive (I also will be getting a large external harddrive)
Dual 512 Radeon video cards
550 Watt Power supply (for dual vid. cards)
Liquid Cooling. Soooo awesome. Intel approved, too!
Blu-Ray burner/reader (also DVD/CD Burner/reader). I don't do blu-ray, but why not...you never know!
Halo 2 (came with it for free...sweeeeet)
LCD computer Temp. Monitor. Heh...with liquid cooling I dont think I have much to worry about.
20 inch LCD monitor. GOODBYE dinky 13 inch!
A new Wacom tablet. My 12 year old needs to retire already.
And OMG I can't wait. I've had my current PC for about 3 years, and I guess I've just outgrown it. It runs GREAT, but it's just so small now...not enough space, or ram. I will miss it, but it will be given to my little brothers, so they will get good use out of it, I'm sure.
I'm excited.
When I get the actual computer in, Folgers will be posing on the glowing green symphony of power that is a PC. That will be an awesome, sexy photo.
