This is true, This is true.
But is it not that the whole world is giving birth to burritos on the crapper anymore?

Re: Car crash
well, if that happened in my front yard, i would at least call the cops so they can dispatch help out there. BUT, if you do try to help someone in a wrecked car like that, pulling them out might actually make any injuries worse, that is why i believe that stuff like that is best left to the professional EMT's and the fire fighters that would probably also show up, so no, i would not try to actually pull the person out of the car or anything like that.

Re: Car crash
I would agree with SSA, It isn't safe to pull them out unless of coarse the situation changes, Like fire, boy do I love me some fire, You deffinetly would have to but I'd deffinetly stay with them.

Re: Car crash
Wow, glad the girl is ok. Having been through EMT training, I have a huge passion for helping others and I just don't get how people can put blinders on. Just like that lady who died in the ER the other day. She was there for something like 24 hours and even after she collapsed on the floor, nobody approached her for like 20 mins. That's ridiculous.

Good point stu. How can anyone just stand their and watch someone die.
We live in a time where people have stop caring about others, which is sad, I still try to help people from time to time, It is also sad that greed has made people stupid.

Re: Car crash
I think they did a study on stuff like this recently, didn't they? That people have this mindset that 'someone else will take care of it', so they try not to get involved, under this ideal..
I didn't hesitate for a moment to clamber down the bank by my house when a woman went flying over the edge of it and slammed into a tree at 80 kilometers an hour.. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again if I had to, either..
Luckily, in that incident, the worst injury was a cut on her son's face from where he clipped it against the edge of the window-frame on the truck.. the woman was so shaken up she didn't even realize her airbags had deployed..
I dunno.. I'd think I'd like someone to help me in a similar situation..
