african egg eater

i have been watching videos on yout tube of the egg eating snakes and i think it would be very interesting to have one. i have done a little reading up on them last few days. they stay about 2 ft long and ive read they have no teeth.

does anyone have any experience with these snakes?
does anyone know where you could purchase one?

Re: african egg eater

I know it's a long ways away from you, but for information, you might try talking to Tim Criswell, who runs the House of Reptiles reptile shop in Tigard, Oregon.

He's an awesome guy, and I remember one time he was talking to me about his egg-eating snakes having just laid eggs and eaten her first meal. He was dubiously excited.

I myself don't know much about them, but Tim is the only person I can think of off hand who might still have some, and/or know where to buy some. If he does have some for sale himself, I think he might even ship. Here's his web address, you can find his e-mail, and his phone number, on it.

This guy knows his stuff, too. And again, GREAT guy. I love the snot out of him.
