teams left with a shot at the superbowl.
The Titans and Pittsburgh played a crazy game, full of 2nd half lead changes and a nail biting overtime finish.
The Eagles scored with their defense and McNabb showed not much rust after missing 6 weeks with a broken ankle. Mike Vick and the Falcons found that (a) the Eagles defense is a good bit better than the Packers and (b) the luck they had against the packers totally deserted them against the Eagles.
The 49ers finally melted down and got drubbed by Tampa like they should have against the Giants.
The NFL's MVP proved to be too much for the hot Jets in the second half and blew open a tie game at the 1/2 to win by 20 points.
So, the Titans at the Raiders for the AFC championship and the Bucs at the Eagles for the NFC championship (note: the Bucs playoff hopes have ended at the Eagles hands the last 2 years and we beat'm handily in the regular season 20-6)
GO EAGLES!!!!!!

All that having been said, I made a few predictions very early in the season that I would like to go back to. I said that the Tennessee Titans were going to the SuperBowl. I am going to stammer around and look dumb for a bit because although i knew that the road to San Diego travels through Oakland, nothing prepared me for just how good the Raiders are this year. The Titans have a much healthier team with much better team chemistry than they did way back in week 4 when the Raiders handed the Titans their backsides with a 52-25 final score. They have come a long way, but is that long enough?
Don't get me wrong: I am NOT an Oakland fan... they are just big and scary and we have to go there to play. I can only hope my team is less intimidated by them than I am.

Philly is going to need a complete team from here out. They squeeked by the Falcons with a slightly better defense but the offense did very little....and squeeking by the falcons is really nothing to brag about. I don't think Philly will be breaking out the champaigne this year. Sorry Jay.

Well, I disagree. Mike Vick changes the way every team plays defense. You cannot pressure the QB as effectively when he's Mike Vick, just ask the 12-4 never defeated at home in the playoffs Packers.
This week will be battle of the defenses, #2 vs. #1. Sure, Tampa scored 31 against the 49ers, but the 49ers shouldn't have sneaked past the Giants. I said it about Atlanta last week, I'll say it about Tampa this week: they'll find the Eagles defense is a good bit tougher than their last opponent. In their regular season meeting this year, the Bucs lost 20-6. What was the score last week against the Falcons? 20-6. Notice how the Eagles don't allow many points? It's hard to win if you cannot score a TD, something the Bucs haven't been able to do in the last 3 games they've played the Eagles, including 2 playoff games. Plus the Bucs gotta play in Philly and everyone knows the sunshine boys don't do so good when it's cold outside.
Now, the Eagles offense wasn't stellar, but our QB was playing his first game since early November. But the fact is that offense still managed to put 13 points on the board (defense scored 7). The Eagles have got the Bucs number and it doesn't have to be pretty, all that matters is the scoreboard at the end of the game. It'll be a knock down, drag out war, and probably be decided by the last possession of the 4th quarter. I'm confident in the Eagles
