Been there done that in the late 60 and early 70s in South East Asia. Never made much sense to me.
They make you jump out of a perfectly good aircraft that flies away as fools on the ground shoot at you. Nope makes no sense at all.
Almost as bad as the idiots who made us jump out of helicopters thirty feet over the water moving at thirty miles per hour. For heavens sake, the choppers can hover in one spot there is no need to see if humans can skip on the water.
