Favorite snake to keep?
Since there are so many people on this site with all kinds of snakes and all kinds of preferences, im curious to see what some of your favorite species of snakes to keep are.
Ive only had 2 snakes, a ball python and i currently have a suriname, and i have to go with my suri. i plan on getting more snakes down the line, but thats all i have to contribute at this time.
i look forward to reading other peoples 2 cents though.

Re: Favorite snake to keep?
I really like keeping my black pine snake, and my jungles. Ohhh Oooooh Ohhhh and I really like Santa Isabella Ground Boas... Madagascan ground boas....
But really, my favorites would have to be my black pine, and my hogg island, I think.

there just so much different. They usually have such a cool body shape, also since they are arboreal, they are happier on a branch visible in the cage, over hiding in a dark hide where nobody can see them. They also usually have a bad rep for being mean

and your experiences suggest otherwise?
because ive read a bit on a few arboreal species and i have seen that in most descriptions and caresheets, that aggressiveness is pretty common. and i believe that there are a lot of snakes out there that get a bad rep just from peoples mistakes and those overly exaggerating articles. especially after reading this forum because its not too often on here that i read that their snake is just mean or just overly aggressive for no reason.
