Anyone know where i can find a herp. vet. in NC?

I have looked every where and can't seem to find one. I am very lucky my snakes haven't gotten ill since I have lived here!!

It might help some if you were to list exactly what part of NC you live in/near for others. That way they can give you the name of a vet that is near you. There are MANY members of RTB here. SO I am sure that one of them will be along soon to give you name[s] of vets that treat reptiles in NC np.

Welcome to RTB! THe vet that JRiley recommended, also comes highly recommended to me also, by a vet I used to work for who went to vet school with Dr. Crawford.

There are three different vets here in Clemmons that do reptiles. I have only used one of them and am going to check into how the other two are. I have never had any problems with the one I use but recently had someone tell me they got lousy results from him on one of thier visits. I dont know the reasoning the visit turned out like that cause he is usually really good with me. Maybe it just because he knows I wont put up with any crap. He found that out the hard way over a rescue I was keping for him and he had the nerve to charge me a fee for bringing in another rescue. He got his snake back really fast and put him in a pinch.

Thanks for all your help I am in Virginia living with the in-laws for a while (scary), but I was in Kernersville.

I know there is one in Greensboro, but I can't remember his name. Call my brother who lives there. He owns All Animals Accepted which is an animal rescue and removal company and he will know. He keeps herps and knows all the vets around there.

ANd you can also call Reidsville Veterinary Hospital and ask for Cindy Parrot who is a very old and dear friend of mine and tell her that David Button told you to call. She knows just about every vet that has ever practiced in Guilford county and the surrounding areas and will also be able to help you.
