28 hours and still holding

wednesday morning i got up and did the usual. iwent downstairs to check on my snakes. i seen chance was shedding. she had it off her head and of course was resting. i tell her 'chance you can rest for a few minutes but this time you have to do the whole shedding yourself, i am not gonna help' i go upstairs and drink some coffee and shower and go check on her again. she looks at me like 'your turn' and dont move an inch.
i tell her 'i am not doing it for you this time, you are a big girl now and a real snake, move around and shed' she looks at me and purses her lips and raises her eyes at me like 'no way' i tell her fine that i am going to work. i get home at 3am and she is still in the exact same spot and still the shed only off her head.
'chance you got to do it all yourself this time, i change my clothes twice a day and you dont help me' i went to bed and left her glaring at me.
i get up Thursday at 11 am and still the exact same spot and the shed still off just her head.
i told her i was gonna go get ready for work and she better have got most of it off by the time i was done. i heard her say hmpff.
yep i come back downstairs and she is still doing nothing looking like an idiot with her shed only off her head. i get the spray bottle out and blasted her in the head with it ( she hates that) but she just buried her head and held out for me to do it for her.
i got the hook out and kept poking her till she moved.
i went back upstairs and came down a half hour later and she had it all off and was resting again. i compromised and peeled it off her tail. i could see the smug expression on her face.
now when little max sheds it is like the tazmanian devil. you see this big hyper whirl and he is done and raring to go. no 2 snakes could be any different then them 2.

I got to watch my boa Shed this last time it took her exactly 1 hour to shed.
but it was worth it to watch.

But I would have to say keep on spoiling Chance.
besides you have always said she gets what see wants.

lol. i will always spoil her but i am trying to let her grow up and be a snake. she really is starting to do snakey type things.
