I'm about to buy a new Vacuum Sealer for the feeders. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the Deni Freshlock II or any Deni products? I wouldn't mind reviews about other Vacuum Sealers either.

Haven't heard of Deni... hmmm
I told you in chat that I have the FoodSaver. I compared it to the Sears Kenmore brand. The FoodSaver was cheaper all the way around and it came with more stuff.
My only advice to store the feeders is to make sure the teeth and claws are well wrapped to prevent them from poking through the bag.

I can't find mine right now so I don't know what brand it is. but I got it at sears for around $100 and it really sucks (in a bad way). hard to operate and half the time it doesn't seal.

I have a Foodsaver, too, and it works well. The only problem I've ever had was when I had too much stuff in the bag, so it wouldn't lay flat enough to seal it. So far, I haven't even had any teeth or claws poke through the bag. They thaw better, too, because with no air in the bag the float lower in the water and are warmed more evenly.

I love my foodsaver...It's so cool that you can snip the bag open....take a rat out and reseal the bag.

I can just picture the follow-up infomercial for the Foodsaver with commentary on how it can be used for sealing other things too. Then you see a bunch of herper customers complimenting Foodsaver because they can now keep their rats fresher for longer. Then the camera shows the Foodsaver sealing off a bag of rats. Anyone know any good online sites with some decent prices? I'm also looking into the Deni Freshlock II, any reviews on that one?

Got mine at BestBuy. Only way to get it cheaper is to go to Costco or Sam's Club and get the big package, LOL I still haven't heard about the Deni. Sorry

I don't know if those prices are bad are not. At the Deni website, you can get the Freshlock or the Freshlock II for only 34.95. I was looking into that. They did have the Foodsavers are Wal-Mart for only 55.00, but they have discontinued the stock, so they don't have them anymore.
