If any of you had the displeasure of seeing tonights episode of Fear Factor they did it again! The put a bunch of various snakes in a vat of water and made the contestants get these marked pucks at the bottem of the water and bring them to a bucket on the surface... The problem comes when the people drag the snakes down with them... You can tell some of the snakes have drowned for the sake of the stunt... isn't that illegal? I could have sworn there was a law that said chordates couldn't be injured for the sake of entertainment....
this happened before... and wasn't there a petition?
i can't believe how big corrporations can shrug that off... but of course they can, no morals in a single one of them...
I really want to know who the herper was who supplied these snakes to them? Who the #$%^&#$%^&#$%^&#$%^& could do that... I don't think any staight minded human being would supply snakes for the entertainment industry... i have yet to see an entertainment (fully so, im not talking about educational nature programs) movie/tv show that actual promotes the good qualities of snake or tries to bolster their reputation with the public... you never see a snake playing the lead character in a movie...
i really can't think of a good way of going about trying to make the pro snake statement heard... stuff like this wouldn't happen if the average joe cared...
*sigh* it all goes back to education...
i guess i'm just going to have to go back to the various local schools and pray i get through to some of them... fat chance...

everyone needs to excuse this post, it's all the same rehashed arguements and sentiments.... it was very spur of the moment... i needed to vent a bit...
