Biggest Brat Ever
Since this is a family forum and I can't say what I truly think of this little wench, just watch the video. She gets a lexus...on her birthday...and then throws a hissy fit. Just watch it. This video made me so mad I wanted to punch her right in her spoiled face.

Re: Biggest Brat Ever
I have to say I don't particularly feel sorry for her or her parents.....and that girl has some seriously hard lessons in life, sooner or later.

Re: Biggest Brat Ever
My man says: "I'm glad we weren't rich enough for MY sister to get like that." (Sister influenced by relatives, rather than parents, and rich-kids "bff's")
I say: Away with them all. They're not good breeding stock. If they were snakes, I think I'd have to freeze the whole strain.

Re: Biggest Brat Ever
XD Well said, Xieke. I couldn't agree more, I seriously can't stand those types of snooty, spoon-fed little brats. I would've DIED if my parents bought me a bloody second-hand car for my birthday for crying out loud. Died of happiness, mind you. I was never handed anything in life, I had to work for a good portion of what I have now.

Re: Biggest Brat Ever
I'm 21... I haven't had a car ever. o.O
I got myself my own first dog, all my own first (insert species of various pets), I bought myself my own bike with dog-walking money....
Heck, half the time I did my own grocery shopping. That little girl is going to sober up right quick when she's in the real world, working her own job at McD's and getting mugged walking home every night. *snort*

It does, you learn not to place so much dependance on material possessions and stuff I think.. more of an appreciation for the stuff you earn yourself, rather than sit and expect it to be plopped into your lap.

Re: Biggest Brat Ever
I'm 25 and still don't have a driver's permit or a car.. Right now I want to get my own place first, then think about vehicles or something to that extent later.
I agree though, all my pets I bought and care for myself, food I deal with, I walk 45 minutes to work every day and work 6 days a week to raise money for things I need--(mostly pet supplies. XD)
My parents expected me to pay rent the day I graduated, so I've been working steady for quite a few years now. If I wasn't expected to pay like that, I probably wouldn't be quite the same as I am now.. It's like the real world booted me in the rear end nice and early and got me kickstarted.. would've liked to go to college, but I'm such a procrastinator. x__@

Re: Biggest Brat Ever
i wish they'd make a show that one day they just take it all away form these people, money, house, everything. and then watch them suffer, try to recover, and eventually just fail cuz they cant hack it. catch is, if they fail they live like that forever that would be great. suddenly a lexus you didnt have to pay for wouldnt sound as horrifying as it did to her. my god i hate people like that. $100 says shes never ever eaten a hot dog, but i love hot dogs, its the little things that make me happy. (im very happy now.....thinking of hot dogs..........with ketchup..mmmmmmm)

Re: Biggest Brat Ever
I'm 22 and all I've ever driven and have been driving is my mom's pickup truck (which I love anyway).
But I think any parent to buy their child a car like that is just stupid. I have heard all too much while in high school of the dumb kids wrecking their cars sometime sooner or later after their parents buy it for them... It's just stupid... wait until they're older and more responsible than that, or make them get a job so they can buy whatever freakin' car they want instead of making a scene and embarrassing the parents like that. It's just stupid.
I'm not complaining if/when my dad will buy me a new truck/car whenever I graduate college. I'll just be happy it gets me the places I need to go and can transport whatever I need it to. I've never had a job (sad i know lol) to work, to buy my own car or whatever... but I'm content right now, I don't need anything, sure I drool over other cars/trucks I wish I could have but I'm happy just driving my mom's truck around, it was the first vehicle I ever drove by myself and I love it even though it's over 20 years old and getting rusty and needs a new paint job... but who cares, it's kept maintained and I care for it, wash it and vacuum it even though I don't own it.
My dad supported my brother through college via a monthly allowance, and he is doing the same for me while also paying my tuition... if I was in any other position and had to pay for my tuition, I wouldn't have most of the critters that I have now... but honestly, the animals such as the turtles only need a couple 3lb boxes of turtle food every few months, etc and it isn't that much, and the snakes food to me, isn't that much for a 6-12 month supply, it's easily saved up, and yet I still am able to buy supplies that I need for myself off of that allowance... Now the baby boas I've sold this year have certainly helped to support my animals. I also have my own bank account, checks, and use a credit card most of the time, BUT I am smart with it and how to use it, and so I am not in any debt at all unlike 90% of students at my college who use credit cards.
If I had to get a job or two to pay for tuition and my own car, I wouldn't complain about it. Besides those expenses I wouldn't have to worry about housing because I'd still be living at home while going to college just 10mins away.
anyway... long rant I know, but. It's just simple... I work hard when I need to, when I have to, and I would not complain about what is given to me.
I didn't watch the video because I knew it would just make me want to beat the crap out of her and her parents.

Re: Biggest Brat Ever
*Stares at tjrj's icon* ..that's is the biggest lobster I think I've ever seen in my life. Where's the butter?!
But yeah, I'm not having kids, so I don't have to worry about forking out cash like that, ever.. Even if I did, I'd probably expect them to do chores around the house and whatnot to earn the things they wanted. It's what I had to do, and it baffles me when we hire some of the young kids in our restaurant who've never done dishes before in their life, and all they talk about is the $400 hair-straightener they just bought along with the $300+ clothes, etc etc.
O__o I wish -I- had money like that to blow! (not on those particular things, though).

Re: Biggest Brat Ever
No kidding... I often fantasize about winning the lottery.... because I wouldn't spend it selfishly.
After buying a house, and perfect awesome caging for all my animals, the rest would either be thrown into savings, or I'd donate it to Steve-o's conservation funds.
Brats like that girl make me want to vomit simply because I'm of the same species.
