Happiness
They say money can't buy happiness. I think that is baloney. I recently ordered some new daylilies for my garden and I'm really really looking forward to them, and I have planned for where they are going to go, and I am anticipating their flowers and it all brings happiness to me.
There are some things money can't buy, like love or affection (though skeptics may say they can be rented) but there are all sorts of things from a new flower, to a new snake, or even a goal attained like a clean garage or a newly set up reptile room that can bring happiness.
What do you say? Can money buy happiness for you?

Re: Happiness
Happiness is just a state of mind. The happiness you feel from ordering your day-lilies isn't from spending the money or from the day-lilies that you don't have yet. Your happiness is based on your expectation of what you expect to happen in the future. If the wrong plant or dead plants arrive does that mean money bought you sadness?
I don't think money can buy you happiness, but it does relieve some of the burden of being sad.

Re: Happiness
There's a difference between happiness and true joy. I think joy is a combination of happiness and satisfaction. Some people are never satisfied. They always want a bigger, faster, better...something. No amount of money will satisfy them. It certainly can buy you things that make you happy, but that happiness is usually short lived.
