3 Years, Holy Moses
April 2, Anniversary, I'm excited. As it would turn out, he likes older books...which I got him last year...I wasn't sure he did like them but he does...he's the quieter type and quite frankly, I didn't remember his reaction. So I think I'll go that route again, rare books, or one rarer one. The way things go with us is, I buy him stuff or get personal and creative, 'cause I have that edge and make less money (even though I've had more jobs longer!  ) and he buys me things 'cause he lacks that creativity and makes more. And it works 'cause I like pretty things. We've been through a lot in that time. We went to school together off and on since elementary school, but didn't know each other. Had biology in high school together and got to know each other two years later in physics; he was a senior and I was a junior. We've been through each other's graduations, first years of college, plenty of transitions along the way.

We've had our times. I heard a lot of high school sweeties usually end at about the beginning of college. We've both been good about always giving things time, not jumping the gun at the onset of something new and scary, or a doubt.
And I'm a talker, I like to be heard and I like to know what he's feeling.

Congrats!!! My second wedding anniversary is on may 13 although we will have been together 8yrs total. We are high school sweet hearts started dating toward the end of freshman year. Always knew we would be together although her parents didn't lol!!! Guess thats why when she turned 18 senior year she moved in with me. We have had our ups and downs but I wouldn't trade any of it for the world.
