My family has always celebrated Easter. It's the time of the year when Christians remember the sacrifice (crucifixion) that Christ made for mankind. At the same time, it's a little kind of fun thing for kids, with the "Easter Bunny" bringing goodies and chocolate eggs etc, like Santa bringing toys at Christmas, or the Tooth Fairy thing. Treats without the tricks!
When we were kids we used to get real baby chickens that were pink, blue and green. Don't know quite how that came about but it happened, and seemed to do the little chickies no harm at all.
Anyway I spent the Easter being ill with the flu. We got the whole weekend - Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday and I got sick.

Same here my Family always celebrate Easter . My family is real real religous . My Grandma tells me that I have the serpant of the Devil in my house . Talking about our snake (boada rtb) . She dose not even like coming to my house anymore . Like I told her God made all living things (creaters) . A Snake is a living thing . If He was the serpant of the devil . Than your tv radio and everything else that you have even your fish and your little dog that my snake would love to eat is a serpant of the devil . She dose not say that anymore . And my brother had my back on that . And he is even a preacher . Sorry that you was sick TammyJamaica . It was real cold and snowy here in teh bluegrass state . But we still did the easter egg hunt . Boada got a rat instead of a bunny cause he is not big enough yet . But other wise we had a real good one .

yup my family celebrates easter as well, happy belated easter everyone. i had a blast, my uncles n i had an orange fight, we had a orange tree covered in oranges in my backyard, but there arent any more oranges now, i got pegged a few times throwing them over the house, from front yard to back then switch, did our prayers, did the whole ordeal, had a fabulous meal. hope everyone had a great one!
