Well, Noodle seems to be dropping the last of her litter as we speak. I've counted two slugs, sixteen live ones, and another half dozen or more bodies that aren't moving much, so we'll have to see what they're all about when the big cluster of them breaks up a little. Pretty amazing... Whoooheeee!

23 baby bci! A few with really great tails, one w/ bcc-looking widow's peaks, several with notably cute faces -- and the rest nice, average looking bci. Early to tell what their colors are going to be all about, for sure, but a bunch of them show some of the same green-blue undertones as their father, as do some of them appear peachy like their mother. Some are very lively, some are very listless, and most are somewhere in between. I hope they all survive. I'll be looking to wholesale the whole litter; the East Bay viv indicated that they buy litters, so I don't have to go far. Anybody have any ideas how much normal average baby bci should wholesale for lately? How's the market? I'm hoping this might get me into some new caging so we can plan the whole breeding thing the next time around.

Also, I'm looking for some input -- would it be smart for me to keep them and let them shed and eat a few meals before looking to sell them? Tell me your thoughts, especially those of you who have been here before.

In my opinion it's always better to get one shed/meal in before selling, that way you can make sure they're all healthy, and well. -Juggalo
