The problem is that I don't know anybody who speaks Japanese and the only exposure to the language I've had has been through movies and anime. I have a huge dvd collection, and in it about 30 Japanese movies and lots of anime which I watch all the time. I hope at least with the movies I can get my ears accustomed to the sounds of the Japanese language.
