Re: Advanced and Quantum Jiu-Jitsu
I'm lovin' San Shou...Weak kicks into the air, followed by being taken down with a basic Judo double-leg takedown. He immediately gives up side control and has no idea what to do...so he goes for head-lock with one arm in. No one gets choked out with one arm in...all it does is expend massive amounts of energy for nothing. Also, watch the San Shou dude's legs...he has no clue what to do if his opponent isn't just standing there to take a punch or kick. Then comes my favorite part... Jiu Jitsu 101...the mount...from side control, place the knee on your opponent's abdomen (not only for a smooth transition to mount, but also to impair the breathing), and slide the shin -bone across the upper-thigh...straight to mount. From there...ground and pound until the opponent turns his back to block the shots to the face, then a simple rear naked choke. Awww...puddin'.

Re: Advanced and Quantum Jiu-Jitsu
Oh...I forgot one...the finishing move! Again BASIC jiu-jitsu....
YouTube - Arm Bar From Guard: Submissions 101
You were right about arms being broken...you should really watch out for that when being jumped by groups of people in alleys!

If the opponent doesn't "make the mistake" of leaving his arm out there...he will after a few elbows have been dropped on his face from side-control...it even works on pro's. I love this sport.

Re: Advanced and Quantum Jiu-Jitsu
Again you may want to look at a reputable san shou fighter. I have never heard of the guy in that match and can not find any information on his training. Unlike the Jui jitsu guy in the match who is very popular. I would love to see him fight Cung Le.
I guess that video would be like me filming myself fighting the MP who took BJJ. If you are going to use the only bjj trainer in china you should put him against one of san shou's best. I understand you probably have never fought and might not understand these videos are promos, they would not promote their losses.
I particularly enjoyed this one :
YouTube - Matt Hughes vs Royce Gracie
The arm bar did not work so good old fashion punches stopped the fight. Matt Hughes was not very skilled at all. He was a good wrestler and ground and pound guy. His BJJ was terrible so how did he beat a master? Because Gracie is not a great fighter.

Re: Advanced and Quantum Jiu-Jitsu
I saw that fight live...great example of BJJ being beaten. The sun even shines on a dog's butt once in a while. It will not win every fight, but there is a reason that every single MMA fighter trains in JJ. 95% of all fights go to the ground. Matt Hughes would have never gotten into MMA and would be a wrestler, right now, if it weren't for BJJ. I have yet to hear about MMA fighters desparate to absorb knowlege of Kempo, San Shou, Chi-Na, Aikido, whatever. I'm not saying that these styles are obsolete or worthless, but 9 times out of 10...your Kung Fu master is getting choked out. For years, there has been a $100,000 reward for beating a Gracie. Master's of almost every style has come to take the challenge...to no avail. At UFC 1, the elite fighters in every class and division came to show that their style was superior...The Gracie's chose Royce because he was the most inexperienced and would better portray the average Jiu-Jitsu fighter (for marketing purposes). How powerful is that?! You put your young son against the world's toughest for a marketing ploy...and he punks every single one of them out...back-to-back....in one night. Yea, he was beaten by Matt Hughes...then Matt was punked out over and over by Georges St. Pierre...with Jiu-Jitsu. I am a huge GSP fan, but I would never say that GSP could beat Royce Gracie! GSP is only a blue-belt!
Once the world saw that BJJ was dominating every style in the world...every fighter then looked to learn it in order to adapt to a changing sport. A wise man changes his mind...a fool never does. If you don't adapt, you'll be left behind.
