to get or not to get

Hello im looking to get a new tattoo and im wanting to get it on the lower part of my four arm what do you all think about getting it there. Is is a good place or not? I see alot of people getting them on there lower arms and i just don't wanna get judged when i go to get a better job and all that s__t. I love tattoos this will be my 3rd. so what is the cons and pros? And people with tattoos there will you give me your input on how you think it's been problems with jobs. thanks Aaron

i've got a large one covering my whole left inner forearm

so far its not kept me from getting a good job, and people haven't really given me any weird vibes or anything, and I got it like....14 years ago..(gulp.. has it really been that long?)

thought about getting a custom drawn key with my daughters name around it some how. My daughters name means Holder of the keys so i thought it would make a sweet tattoo in black and gray or should i make it color?

I do have tattoos, and I always love getting a new one, haha, but I have refrained from getting anything on my lower arms. I am right now working on a child psych degree (and plan on eventually a PhD) and unfortunately in that field, there ARE people who judge you and it will hurt your career. I'd say it depends on your age and your job security. If you are relatively young, I would probably hold off. Then again, I know young people with tattooes on their forearms and nothing bad has ever come of it. I've also seen people not get jobs becuase of tattoos or piercings, so it's really a chance you're taking.

in the end, it depends on if you think it's a chance you're willing to take. Right now, I know that it would not be a smart move for me to get a tattoo on my arm, as much as I want one, and all my tattoos are completely coverable by casual clothing...

i would like to go into being a C O at a prison or jail so i don't know if that would hurt my chances im 25 so im in the middel age lol

If you're going to do things that make it harder for the squares to want to employ you, be darn good at what you do. Or don't work for the squares. Best wishes either way.

in that job field, I don't see it being much of a problem. as for the idea, I think you could take it to an artist and have him rin with it. it sounds like it could turn into an amazing tattoo, see what your artist can come up with.

yea i think im going to go on with the tattoo and place, yea next week im going to stop in and give him my thought of how i want it and see what happens.
