Empty 10 Gallon
So i have an empty ten gallon tank laying around, water bowl, heating, thermometers, and i have been thinking well i think its about time to get something to put in it. But the question is what? I thought and thought, and cant seem to come up with anything.. considered maybe a kenyan sand boa, or a pair of satanic leaftail geckos.. but i though i would see if anyone else has any suggestions?

Re: Empty 10 Gallon
you say 10 gallon!.....ummmm...What about a child! Plenty of room... only needs feeding 3 times a day, poops once, and a pain in the butt 24/7!

Re: Empty 10 Gallon
haha, i hear children need alot of attention to tame them down, and grow to be quite large where they eventually need to be free roam or at least a decent room sized enclosure.. im actually leaning more towards something that stays fairly small and at adult size only needs a 10 or 20 gal.

Re: Empty 10 Gallon
i wouldnt do leaf-tails unless you are experienced with working with them. They are very delicate. (and I dont think a 10-gal is big enough for a pair)
I say get yourself a baby crested gecko =] hehe.

if i had Satanic Leaf tailed they wouldnt be handled much, since they are fragile, they would be more show animals in a nice naturalistic enclosure.. and since they only get 3.5 to 4 inches you can house a pair in a 10 gal or a trio in a 15 gallon.
