Re: pet webspace?
I started my free website years ago with Yahoo! GeoCities: Get a free web site with easy-to-use site building tools However I out grew the free one and upgraded my site and I pay about $12.00 per month now. You will be able to do everything you want to with the free site.
Take care
Tom

Re: pet webspace?
Free web pages are garbage if you ask me. There slow and filled with either pop up ads or ads imprinted on your pages. Not to mention if more then a handful of people visit it daily it will be turned off due to bandwidth overages. If it is really important to you then bite the bullet and buy some hosting space and a url.

Re: pet webspace?
I have my webpage ( Welcome to the Zoo! ) through
Geocities, but I DO NOT recommend it, I'm changing mine soon. Although it's easy to create and run, it's a pain in the you-know-what. I go over my data-transfer limit ALL THE TIME and it SUCKS! your site gets shut down for up to an hour. There's a little advertisment on the side that's managable, but still annoying.

Re: pet webspace?
I built mine with Microsoft Frontpage and then hosted it (the index.html file, the main page) through cjb.net... you can host it for free but it will have ads... but to get rid of the ads for a year you only pay like.. $20-25 and they're gone. It's great... here is my site. http://webbherps.cjb.net

Re: pet webspace?
There is one for dogs and cats called Dogster.com that is a whole lot of fun.ANd if you go to reptilechannel.com they have kinda lame websites you can make for your reptiles..I like Dogster my 4 dogs each have a webpage on it.I never did make one for the cats though.
