Searing heat

I am putting approximately 20 different kinds of hot peppers in the garden this year. Some are mildly hot and sometimes I prefer that. Some food like chile rellenos seems to call for mild heat.
Some have really, really searing heat but in fact, while your tongue is being cremated, you can still recognize the many different variations: fruity hot, spicy hot, etc.
I honestly can't eat a whole bunch of the nuclear style peppers but I do like them.
How about y'all?

Re: Searing heat

I have lived in the South my whole life I love hot. If it isn't hot going in it is just a boring meal. Plus beer makes the burning go away lol.

Re: Searing heat

I actually prefer to use my tongue to taste things. I may cremate it when I die. lol

Re: Searing heat

I wonder if they would honor a request to cremate one part of one's body and bury the rest. That would be weird.

Re: Searing heat

I prefer spicy, but not on everything. Some things taste better mild.
