alright so i know smokings a bad habit n all...but this is rediculous. i work in a warehouse, and they are making a new rule where we cant smoke anywhere on the property now. we have to clock out and leave the property, and its located in a bad part of town. ya know i understand non smokers dont lik to be around smoke and all, but 3/4 of the employees smoke, and we can only smoke outside anyways, and theres no customer pickups on our breaks. i just think its rediculous, we have our rights to i mean, idk im just angry wanted to vent

yea, lol, its gonna be one angry place. i just think its retarded, were outside, and we take care of the butts. all i can say is they better install ventilation at least this summer

I work in a parts department no one ever comes to the wearhouse end and we aren't a loud to smoke out back anymore so yeah.

I agree. I think these smoking bans are going a bit too far. It is bad for your health and whatnot, but so are all-you-can-eat buffets but they're booming.

yea ya know we have customer pick up, for 2 hrs while were there, we close at 5, our break is at 7. we take care of our butts and everything. they would rather us be unsafe and stand by the rd. this is a place where there were 6 murders in 2months alone in less than 4 blocks from us, not to mention all the hookers that are around

yea, well the warehouse isnt exactly the safest place either. and as of right now the ventilation sucks. smoking on the premises is the last thing they need to worry about

Sorry to disagree with you, but I hate smoking, especially any second hand smoke, so it is hard to feel sorry for you. I mean really, if ya wanna kill yourself there is alot quicker ways to do it. Trust me, I have sat by the bedside of 3 different people who have died from lung cancer, it is a horrible way to die. Take advantage of the situation and use it to help you quit.
