Re: Nature's Most Perfect Food

Oh rare steak fresh off the grill with a ceasar salad, and garlic mashed potatoes really has to top my list, along with lasagna, spaghetti carbanara, sushi, sockeye salmon, and phad thai.

I think nature's most perfect food is probably fresh crab, though. Hauled out of the ocean and cooked right there on the beach. Gimme some crackers and a bowl of drawn butter and I am a happy camper!

Re: Nature's Most Perfect Food

I'm a pretty good chef. Some perfect foods from my own recipe book:

My gumbo. Legend has it I met the devil himself down at the crossroads with my stockpot and my spoon and was given the recipe in exchange for my soul.

Key Lime Cheesecake with a gingersnap crust and raspberry coulis.

A properly smoked pork shoulder.

Bananas Foster Stuffed French Toast (nothing wakes a person up like fire at the breakfast table)

Ribs.

Oatmeal Pancakes. Some of you may remember them from the 2003 camping trip.
