Posing snakes
1) How do you get your snakes to pose for the camera?
2) What kind of lighting do you use?
3) Ummm other advice for photographing your snake?

Re: Posing snakes
For younger snakes, I heard that putting a hand in front of their head, and touching at the tail will get them to pull their tail in toward their body and coil their neck back into the 'S'. Lighting? Pretty sure a lot of people here use natural lighting you can also use a light box, but I'm not sure how to build one... yet, anyway.
Uum... patience and luck is probably the other advice I can give. Snakes can definetely be as bad as children in getting them to sit still to get a nice shot.
