Sadly what she says and the comparisons she makes are all to true. The number of people recognizing these things has been growing for 30+ years that I know of. The problem is the fear/ignorance/complacency/false patriotic nature of the majority of citizens.
I would disagree with her on the hope of prevention factor though.
With the vast majority sticking their heads in the sand unwilling to look at the situation, much less stand up and try to stop it, the insidious erosion of our republic will continue until it is to late.

there is her book and Pat Buchanan's new book basically talking about the same type of thing.
Although more from a socio political standpoint.

both are worth a read, anyone who loves this country and cares about our future needs to pay more attention to whats been going on the last few decades, with most focus on 90-present.

what this woman says is in the most part true in my opinion. it been like that for a long time. i think a lot of the population already knows it. even as we speak our wars are not fought for freedom. it has a lot to do with oil and greed. history always and eventually repeats itself. people remember mistakes made in history and almost always repeat them somewhere down the line.
