your bag
I thought this would be a fun/interesting thread and might help some people out when herping season comes around.
What do you keep in your backpack when you hit the herping trail?

Re: your bag
Anit-venom!! LOL. Just kidding. I always take water and a camera and if I am out for a long time then I will take something to eat.
Here are a few pics from my last trip about two years ago. Man I need to go again. I think this was a nice find.

The whole backpack thing reminded me of these photos.

I really feel bad about one thing though. That is that his rattle fell off. Compare the first pic to the last. It really makes me mad at myself. Oh well, I guess that happens.

Re: your bag
usually a knife, a mp3 player, water bottle, possible poncho if it is an all day thing and the weather looks a little bad....snacks, whatever else happens to find it's way in there before I leave

Re: your bag
I dont really go herping, there is very little to find around here. but if i was gonna go out in the middle of nowhere I would prob bring some first aid type of stuff, some food, water, camera, flashlight, anything else that seems to make sense.
