I'm sry for getting angry, its easy for me to do. I come home from the baby shower, and i have infraction from morti, not one but two for the same thing, and it wasn't even serious. then i see someone who disregarded all animal keeping rules by not studying the animals before purchasing them, and placing them and feeding them in the same tank. it was truly upsetting.
things could have been handled differently and more adult like, but when you get upset and blinded by anger and people are harassing you, for you correct opinion just to harass you its even more upsetting. i think there was a lot of things that should have been said differently tonight, not just by me but by others, we led each other on and fueled the fires.

I'm normally a happy go lucky person, but if i haven't wronged you don't disrespect me, keep your two cents to yourself. if you want to pick a fight you will get it right back in your face.
and as far as you questioning me and animals, i have never been bitten, i have never injured/harmed an animal. i have done many rescues and helped many careless owners sick, and malnourished, and injured animals back to health so forgive me if its a touchy subject about people not taking care of their animals. so as far as my animal record is concerned yes it is perfect.

Okay and that's fine, but the idea on here is not to bash someone for their care. One of the primary reasons for this forum (as well as others) is to help people when in need. Just because someone isn't as "perfect" as you are with their care doesn't mean that they in fact don't care. If they posted something in regards to wanting help, that to me, shows that they care and are trying.

I think the biggest issue is that you come off acting like everyone who's ever owned a herp of any kind, should be embedded with the knowledge already, and if not, they don't deserve to own the animal. Not saying that's how you think, but when you look at it from a different point of view, it's almost exactly what it sounds like.

Take me, for example. I may not be a big-time breeder, and have 20 years experience under my belt, but I am pretty close to a decade so far and I'm always learning new things.. though with all that I know, I'm not going to strut around on my high horse, and act like I'm better than everybody. Heck, I had the vet last Saturday suggest I get into Exotic medicine because I impressed her..

The fact of the matter is, people come here looking for advice, and help. Help can't be found if they're met with hostility, or degrading remarks to make them look stupid because they didn't know something.. they could've looked up the basic information on their pet, but there's so much more to them than just a caresheet. In some cases, ignorance could be a factor, but a lot of it.. especially with people new to owning snakes, it's a mistake.

We're all human, everyone makes mistakes and nobody is perfect.
